INTRODUCTION OF DRUG

• A drug is any substance that, alters normal bodily function, resulting any psychological or behavioral change.

• Drug is a substance used to treat an illness.

DRUG USE

• The intake of those chemical substance which are use for the cure of a disease or for any reasonable purpose.

ANIMALS TAKING DRUGS

• This relationship is not limited to humans.

• A number of animals consume different psychoactive plants, animals, berries and even fermented fruit, becoming intoxicated, such as cats after consuming catnip.

DRUG ABUSE

• The intake of chemical substances increase the hazard and potential weather.

• A chemical substance which is not used legally, or as prescribed by the physician.

DRUG ADDICTION

• The drug addiction is a resulting effect of drug abuse.

• Drug addiction is a pathological condition.

DRUG ADDICTS

• The person who is taking drugs and is addicted to a certain drug is known as the addict of that particular drug.

HISTORY OF DRUGS

• There is archaeological evidence of the use of psychoactive substances dating back at least 10,000 years.

• When Chinese immigrants came to California in the 1850s to work in gold mines and then on the railroads, they brought opium smoking with them.

• During the 1960s, addiction of drugs like marijuana, amphetamines, and psychedelics came on the scene.

• With the drug culture exploding, in the 1970s, cocaine reappeared.

• Then, a decade later, crack appeared, spreading addiction and violence at epidemic levels.

HASSAN BIN SABAH’S CONTRIBUTION

• Hassan bin Sabbah was the person who wanted to rule over whole of the world and for this purpose he uses “hashish”.

• He use different wonderful methods to engage people specially Muslims into the use of drugs.

HERMAN’S ACTIVITIES

• Herman was the chief of Jewish intelligence at that time who makes a complete plane and trained his army to interact with Muslims and made them an addict of drugs.

ADDICTION IN THE MODERN WORLD

• Since the 19th century when Americans first discovered new wonder drugs like morphine, heroin, and cocaine, our society has confronted the problem of drug abuse and addiction.

PRODUCTION PLACES

• Most of the world's opium is grown in Afghanistan, the Lao People's Democratic Republic and Myanmar.
