People experiment with drugs. Drugs per se is not bad, drugs as defined is a chemical substance that brings about physical, emotional or behavioral change in a person taking it. However, when one abuses the use of drugs this will surely lead to different effects in one’s physical, intellectual, psychological and emotional make up and more. Drug abuse is the continuous use of any chemical substance, licit or illicit, resulting to individual’s life physical, mental, or social impairment. There have been various reasons leading to Drug Abuse.
Understanding drug use, drug abuse and addiction
One of which is economic. Many people rich or poor people would go into drugs either using it or selling it, because they think this is an easy way to escape poverty but of course it is not! Another, is family. Family problems occurring in some of the individuals and often they do not know how to cope with their situations. They would do drugs to forget their problems. Some would also attribute it to curiosity and peer pressure. People particularly, teenagers like you would be curious about drugs and slowly these curious individuals get hooked with the habit, thus having Drug Addiction which would later lead to various effects on the individual.
