Why the name Seuss?

He attended Dartmouth College and he was involved in the campus humor magazine Jack-O-Lantern.

He would sign his articles “Seuss”, which was “both his middle name and his mother’s maiden name.” (All About Dr. Seuss).

What happened after Dartmouth?

He went on to Oxford University to please his father.

It was here that he met his wife, Helen Palmer.
