How to Breed Dogs Successfully AND Profitably
Breeder SecretsHow You Too Can Breed Dogs Successfully AND Profitably!
Introduction
Hi! I'm Jennie Moore and I'm a very successful AND
profitable dog breeder. You're about to learn how to be just as
successful and profitable as I am, but you're going to get to skip the
20+ years of trial and costly error, and sometimes heartbreak, that I
had to go through.
First, I want to talk briefly about why it's important to me that
you learn how to be a successful dog breeder AND to be very profitable at it. This is a
touchy subject for many people, but I don't believe in avoiding the topic. We're all
grown ups here, so we can get right to the point.

How to Breed Dogs Successfully AND ProfitablyI believe that if your dogs are profitable for you, then you will take excellent care of
them. That's all there is to it. I want you to take excellent care of your dogs. That's my
motivation.
Now you may already be one of those people that takes
excellent care of their dogs, and I hope that you are, BUT the
reality is that few people in this economy can really afford to take
care of their dogs as well as they'd really like to. I want to enable
you to treat your dogs like royalty and buy them the best of
everything.
On the other hand, you and I both know that there are people out there that breed
dogs and treat them horribly. We can't pretend those people don't exist. For those
people, I'm hoping that I can educate them about how much better and easier it is for them
and their dogs, if they treat them right. The better they treat their dogs, the more profitable
they will be. If that's what motivates them, so be it. Either way, the dogs win.

How to Breed Dogs Successfully AND ProfitablyEveryday there are over 8,000 people in the world
that decide to breed their dog. One website lists over
100,000 dog breeders in the United States alone. Over
92.3% of those dog breeders surveyed lose money.
The other 7% that ARE profitable, are almost always
the awful puppy mills. But, over 98.7% of my students are
profitable. Do you want to be in the 92% that fail? Or do
you want to be in the 98% that are successful AND
profitable?
Even if you only want to breed your dog for fun, how
much more fun can it be if you make a lot of money doing
it? It just doesn’t make sense to not do it right.
You owe it to your dogs and to yourself to learn how
to be the best dog breeder you can possibly be. You will
be better at it and enjoy it more if you are profitable.

How to Breed Dogs Successfully AND ProfitablyNow that we’ve gotten that out of the way, I want to ensure that you have the same
success that I enjoy in raising puppies. I'm here to teach EXACTLY what you need to
know every step of the way. So, let's get right to the point... There are three critical
components to being a highly successful and profitable dog breeder and we're going to cover all
of them in great detail. They are:
1. You Have to Breed (Mate) and Care for All the Dogs Correctly- This ensures that you have large
litters of fat, healthy puppies.
2. You Have to Keep Costs to a Minimum- This is
where most breeders make the biggest mistakes and
lose massive amounts of money.
3. You Have to Know How to Sell the Puppies Fast and for Very High Prices- It doesn't
do any good to have great puppies you don't know how to sell quickly and for top dollar.

How to Breed Dogs Successfully AND ProfitablyIf You Miss Any One of These Three Critical
Components,You'll Fail as a Successful and Profitable Dog
Breeder!
Unfortunately, most dog breeders miss ALL THREE of
these highly important aspects of being a successful dog
breeder. To prove my point, I'd like you to do a little test for me...
I highly encourage you to call up any good breeder in your
area and chat with them a little bit about their dogs. Then, when
the time is right, politely ask them how much profit they make on
each litter. Without a doubt, they will always say they are lucky if they break even, or
they lose money. They'll then tell you they breed dogs because they love them and/or
it's just an expensive hobby for them.
This is the sad reality for almost all dog breeders. This is because most of them
are missing major parts of information for all three important components I mentioned.
To Read More Go To www. BreederSecrets .com Page 9 by Jennie Moore
How to Breed Dogs Successfully AND ProfitablyThey don't know how to properly breed or care for their dogs and they end up
losing puppies or nursing back to health sickly, weak puppies. Some even have trouble
getting the female pregnant.
Then they spend tons of money at the vet because
they don't know how simple and inexpensive it is to do all
the puppy medical care yourself. It literally costs less than
a cheap breakfast for everything that each puppy needs.
These breeders also spend a ton of money on dog food
because they have no idea how breeders can get top
quality dog food delivered to their door for free.
Then the final major mistake they make is when they under value their puppies
and have no idea how to market them properly. They advertise, yes, but advertising
and marketing are completely different things. They don't understand the difference.
To Read More Go To www. BreederSecrets .com Page 10 by Jennie Moore
How to Breed Dogs Successfully AND ProfitablyAdvertising tells people you have puppies for sale. Marketing actually sells the
puppies for you before the people even see them. Which do you prefer to do? I intend
to teach you exactly how to market your puppies and get top dollar for them before they
are even ready to leave their mother.
Now you see why most dog breeders are not only
unprofitable, but they lose a ton of money. I realize that profit
is often not their motive, but how much enjoyable would their
“hobby” be if they were getting paid really well for doing what
they love? How much better could they take care of their
dogs if they were profitable? It just doesn’t make sense to not
learn how to be as profitable as possible.
Don’t worry though, you’re going to learn exactly what you need to know to be
highly successful at all three critically important components that I mentioned. You don't
need money to get started either once you learn the "Magic Words" to say to breeders
To Read More Go To www. BreederSecrets .com Page 11 by Jennie Moore
How to Breed Dogs Successfully AND Profitablyto get your breeding dogs for free, and how to get Champion stud service for
your females without spending a dime. We’ll talk about that in just a minute…
First, let's figure out how much money we're talking
about that you can make. I have created a chart to show
you how to calculate how much you can earn with each
female that you own. The average litter size of dogs varies
greatly with different breeds. A quick search on the Internet
will tell you the average litter size for any breed you might be
interested in.
A female dog will come into "heat" or an estrus cycle for the first time usually at
around 6 months old, give or take a month either way. Smaller breeds mature a little
faster and might have their first heat sooner. Larger breeds mature a little slower, and it
might be a little after 6 months when she has her first heat cycle.
To Read More Go To www. BreederSecrets .com Page 12 by Jennie Moore
How to Breed Dogs Successfully AND ProfitablyAfter the first heat cycle, they will come back into heat about every 6 months or
twice a year. During the heat cycle is when the female is ready to breed and can get
pregnant. It’s on a very specific day in the heat cycle though, but we’ll talk about that in
detail in Chapter 23. It is best to wait for the first heat cycle AFTER she turns one year
old to breed her for the first time. This allows her body to mature and will result in the
healthiest puppies.
A male dog is usually fertile and physically able to
breed about the time he starts to hike his leg to urinate.
This is usually around six to nine months old, again,
depending on the breed and how fast they mature. Smaller
dogs are ready a little sooner and larger breeds take a little
more time to mature.
Often though, the male dog is not mentally mature enough to breed until around
nine months to a year old. He needs a little time to mature and develop the sex drive
To Read More Go To www. BreederSecrets .com Page 13 by Jennie Moore
How to Breed Dogs Successfully AND Profitablythat causes him to want to breed. We'll talk more about the male dogs in just a
minute, but first, let's look at an example of a typical scenario so you can figure out for
yourself what kind of profits are possible for you.
Most breeders will breed a female two heat cycles in a row, so she produces two
litters and then skip one cycle to let her body rest for one cycle. This results in two
litters one year and one litter the next or an average of 1.5 litters per year per female.
Let’s take a Shih Tzu, Yorkshire Terrier or a
Chihuahua for example. They are all very popular small
dogs and top quality pups sell for an average of $2000
each. Yes, I know you can buy poor quality puppies for
much less, but we don’t want to deal in poor quality dogs.
I am going to teach you to get the highest price possible
for your puppies, no matter what the breed, so you will receive at least $2000 each, but
to be ultra conservative, I'm going to use only $1500 as an example.
To Read More Go To www. BreederSecrets .com Page 14 by Jennie Moore
How to Breed Dogs Successfully AND Profitably The average litter size for these small breeds is four to six puppies. Look at the
chart on page 17 and you can see that for each of these females that you own, following my
advice, you would earn a minimum average of $9,000 per year.
You can easily care for three or four of
these sweet, low maintenance dogs in a small
house or apartment with no problem. Miniature
Poodle litters tend to be a little larger. They'll
often have five or six puppies in a litter.
Would you be able to quit your job on
$36,000 to $50,000 a year if you had four dogs?
Maybe, maybe not, but you don't have to stop there...
Larger breeds like Labradors or Golden Retrievers have closer to ten puppies in
a litter. They too are in HUGE demand all over the world and sell for about $1500 or
more for top quality dogs.
To Read More Go To www. BreederSecrets .com Page 15 by Jennie Moore
How to Breed Dogs Successfully AND ProfitablyYou can see how many adorable Golden Retriever puppies are in the litter in this
picture. Eleven puppies sold at only $1,000 each is nothing to sneeze at. Eleven pups
sold at $1,500 each, which is the going rate for quality dogs, is $16,500. In a minute
though, I’m going to teach you how to sell each of your puppies for a minimum of
$2,000 each, regardless of the breed.
You can have fun doing the
math yourself using the chart on
the next page.
You can easily see that
you can earn quite a bit of money
with just one or two dogs. Just
think of the unlimited potential if
you expand with more dogs or
more than one breed.
