Artist Influence

I started to look at how old Disney films

looked, such as The Lion Kink, Jungle

Book and Robin Hood.

Rather than using hundreds of shades

and colours to create intricate scenes,

they uses tone and shapes to createsimple and effective landscapes.

What I like most about the way these

artists have worked is the style they

have created; by using perspective, scaleand simplicity they have generated a

space that the viewer can escape in and

explore. The have created this feel byplacing selected objects in the

foreground, midground and background

which generates a real sense of

dimension and space.
