The “Magic” Track

The Neodymium magnet rolls slower down the Aluminum track EVEN THOUGH the magnet is NOT attracted to the track! This is because of “Lenz’s Law”; an electric field is produced by the rolling magnet which in turn produces its own magnetic field that opposes the magnetic field which originally created it.

Fan cart“For every Force, there is an equal and opposite Force”… Newton’s 3rd Law

With the “sail” on board & perpendicular to the Force caused by the fan blades, Newton’s 3rd Law is easily observed.

Since the “Wall” AND Fan are both attached to the cart, the equal & opposite forces cause no net motion of the cart.

What happens when the tube is dropped WHILE making a sound?
