DIRECTIONS•Advancing slides. Tap the space bar to move from one slide to the next or use up and down arrows.•Lessons. Limit lessons to one a day. Some children, however, already know many of the letters

of the alphabet. For these children, especially during the early lessons, several lessons may be taught at one time. When a child experiences difficulty remembering the lesson, however stop and review. Do not teach any further lessons.

•Daily lesson:–Review yesterday’s lesson. If recalled accurately, continue on to a new lesson.–New lesson

•After a new letter has been learned as a part of a word, have the child read and spell the word.•When a word with a letter missing is shown, ask the child to provide the missing letter.•When a paragraph of a story is shown with missing words, ask the child to fill in the blank.•“Pause” shows that a lesson has been completed. It is now time for reviews by writing or games.•End of lesson. Press “escape” key to close program.
