Biography Elin Sigrén / Sägen
What began as a way to create my own ideas through a What began as a way to create my own ideas through a career as a stage producer soon developed into the rap-idly growing young label, Sägen, which started in 2007. The name Sägen means an old saga and shows my in-terest for turning things from trash to treasure. When creating urban modern accessories, I use items from the past for recycling or inspiration for new products.
Sägen has a range of other products, including a collec-tion of vintage button jewellery, handcrocheted fair-trade hats, hair decorations, wallets and purses. New items are released continuously.
Today I work full time as an accessory designer from my Studio in central Malmö.
