Composite Pipes easily resist handling damage and field abuse such as produced by wheel loads of heavy equipment or tool impact. The incredible strength of Composite Pipes can be explained by the multi-ply structure of the pipes.This unique structure dissipates the stress waves of impact energy around and along the pipe body rather that through the pipe wall.No other pipe possesses this unique feature which makes the pipe wall structure virtually indestructible.A quarter inch (6 mm) wall thickness pipe can resist tensile end loads as great as 12,000 lbs. (5.4 tons) per circumferential inch, while simultaneously resisting circumferential hoop loads as great as 12,000 lbs per lineal inch.The Twin Lock™ Coupler System enables the Composite Pipes to be sealed and connected to provide a pipeline with the strength and integrity equivalent to that of a welded steel pipe. Solar Thermal Concentrating Systems

By using mirrors and lenses to concentrate the rays of the sun, solar thermal systems can produce very high temperatures—as high as 3,000 degrees Celsius. This intense heat can be used in industrial applications or to produce electricity.Solar concentrators come in three main designs: parabolic troughs, parabolic dishes, and central receivers. The most common is parabolic troughs—long, curved mirrors that concentrate sunlight on a liquid inside a tube that runs parallel to the mirror. The liquid, at about 300 degrees Celsius, runs to a central collector, where it produces steam that drives an electric turbine.

Wind Turbines

Modern electric wind turbines come in a few different styles and many different sizes, depending on their use. The most common style, large or small, is the "horizontal axis design" (with the axis of the blades horizontal to the ground). On this turbine, two or three blades spin upwind of the tower that it sits on.

Small wind turbines are generally used for providing power off the grid, ranging from very small, 250-watt turbines designed for charging up batteries on a sailboat, to 50-kilowatt turbines that power dairy farms and remote villages. Like old farm windmills, these small wind turbines have tail fans that keep them oriented into the wind.

Large wind turbines, most often used by utilities to provide power to a grid, range from 250 kilowatts up to the enormous 3.5 to 5 MW machines that are being used offshore. Today, the average land-based wind turbines have a capacity of 1.5 MW.[i][7] Large turbines sit on towers that can be anywhere from 50 to 100 meters tall, and have blades that range from 30 to 50 meters long.[ii][8] Utility-scale turbines are usually placed in groups or rows to take advantage of prime windy spots. Wind "farms" like these can consist of a few or hundreds of turbines, providing enough power for tens of thousands of homes.

Axial-Flow Rotor Turbine: The design of these turbines consist of a concentric hub with radial blades, similar to that of a windmill.Mechanical power is applied directly through a speed increaser to internal electric generator, or through a hydraulic pump that in turn drives an onshore electric

generator.

This technology represents a novel method for generating electricity from a huge energy resource in the sea. It is rare enough for an entirely new energy resource to be developed but even rarer if the technology, as in this case:-produces no pollution and has negligible environmental impact delivers energy to a predictable timetable has the potential to make a major contribution to future energy needs Although the relentless energy of marine currents has been obvious from the earliest days of seafaring, it is only now that the development of modern offshore engineering capabilities coinciding with the need to find large new renewable energy resources makes this a technically feasible and economically viable possibility

An advanced system for waste treatment. (Kiln type Incinerator of Pyrolysis Gasification).Firstly, shredded waste is heated without oxygen in pyrolysis drum and iron/aluminum are recovered.Secondly, pyrolysisproducts (gas and ash) are combusted at high temperature in furnace and the slug is recovered. High performance generation of electricity is achieved.

Recycled MetalsThe gasifier will liquefy any metal. Separation of the metals is not required before the reactor, although it does consume energy. The metal that goes into the reactor, either comes out the bottom of the reactor or is removed by the gas cleanup system. Any metals that are recovered are sold to metal recyclers.

Purified WaterAny low-pressure steam (small amount) not used in the process is either condensed or can be used to produce distilled water in a multi-effect distillation unit.

Hydrochloric AcidDuring the gas clean up phase of the process, hydrochloric acid (HCL) gas is absorbed into water and distilled to a 15-20% concentration.

SulfurThe hydrogen sulfide (H2S) in the gas is scrubbed out to make fertilizer grade sulfur using a biological process or alternatively can be converted into sodium bisulfate.

Futuristic architecture is often achieved through a nice juxtaposition of industrial concrete, plastic glass brick, some high quality black plastic imitation marble, and stainless steel structural supports, where the glass brick also serves to separate the service passage from the main washroom. The use of sensor operated sinks, toilets, urinals, and hand dryers, together with service-installed lighting often adds to the modern aesthetic and functionality. Play Pump Water System

(1), While children have fun spinning on the Play Pump merry-go-round clean water is pumped (2) from underground (3) into a 2,500-liter tank (4), standing seven meters above the ground. A simple tap (5) makes it easy for women and children to draw water. Excess water is diverted from the storage tank back down into the borehole (6). The water storage tank (7) provides a rare opportunity to advertise in outlaying communities. All four sides of the tank are leased as billboards, with two sides for consumer advertising and the other two sides for health and educational messages. The revenue generated by this unique model pays for pump maintenance. Capable of producing up to 1,400 liters of water per hour at 16 rpm from a depth of 40 meters, it is effective up to a depth of 100 meters. A typical hand pump installation cannot compete with the Play Pump system's delivery rate, even with substantial effort.

Composting Toilet

Composting is the most appropriate method for dealing with human waste and is completely natural. A composting toilet is traditionally a waterless toilet and therefore respects precious water supplies and doesn't create any pollution. In the toilet room there is no chain to pull or button to press, apart from that it's your average toilet.

Some of the key features are...Six removable compost bins housed on a turntable. The turntable is manually rotated once a bin becomes full.The full bin remains inside the system to continue the composting process. Once a composted bin comes around for use again the contents will be reduced to two thirds of it's original volume and transformed into a soil rejuvenating humus. There is no strenuous raking, bending or digging of any fresh wasteVirtually no maintenance. Unlimited capacity ...and the toilet room is always fresh.

After installation, solar panels absorb the sun's rays, even on cloudy days, and convert sunlight into usable electrical energy. Next, an inverter converts the DC current from the solar panels to AC current for use throughout the home.
