HAPPY HOLIDAY BAGS
Each year, staff past and present, community
partners and many generous donors help make
the season bright through donations to our Holi-
day Bag program. We will be putting together a
special treat bag for every Cougar, as well as
care packages for the residents at Queenchester
Terrace retirement home. If you are interested
in donating to our program, please call the of-
fice, or look for the 'Support Your School' link on
the Connaught website. Specify 'Holiday Bags'
when donating online so your donation will
make it directly to the program. Thanks for your
support, and Happy Holidays!

KEEPING OUR KIDS SAFE, HEALTHY AND HAP-
From time to time, bad weather can cause bus cancellations or school closures.
When buses have been cancelled and schools remain open, the decision to send your child(ren)
to school on that day rests with you as the parent or guardian.
Should you decide not to send your child to school when buses are cancelled but schools
remain open, please call or enter online through Safe Arrival to inform us of your child’s
absence. The phone number is 1-866-606-5567.
During times like this, the DSBN Emergency Information form that you filled out at the beginning of the school
year is what we rely upon! Please ALWAYS let the school know of all changes in contact
information throughout the school year.
Oh The Weather Outside Is Frightful!
