Ben’s dad is a great engineer. He can make any robot.
“Dad, can you play chess with me?”
“ Oh, dear. I am busy now. Take this robot. He can play chess with you.”
“Dad, can you play basketball with me?”
“ Oh, why not play with this robot? He can play basketball with you.”
“Dad, can you read stories to me?”
“ I am so busy. Take this robot. He can read stories to you.”
Ben has so many cool robots, but he is not happy at all.
Next weekend is Ben’s birthday. Dad wants to give Ben a special gift.
“Ben, what robot do you want for your birthday?”
“I want a ‘Daddy Robot’.”
“ What?”
“Yes, a ‘Daddy Robot’. He looks like you. He plays chess with me. He plays basketball with me. He reads stories to me, and he hugs me.
Ben’s birthday arrives.
“Hello, Ben!”
“Daddy Robot is coming! Happy Birthday!”
