There will be a great deal of project based learning which will include RESEARCH.

There will be a variety of field trips that are directly related to the curriculum (CCSS)

Projects and Trips

Homework

Homework is posted or dictated each and every day. Students are responsible for copying assignments into their homework notebooks.

When assignments and notices are given out they should be kept in homework folders. Students are always instructed to make sure they have everything before they leave.

Homework is due the next day unless otherwise directed.

As stated in the homework policy that was sent home with students the first week of school

PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE, Pencils are to be sharpened at home nightly.

Additional Information

Students should always have a chapter “book baggie” at their desk for reading if they finish their work early. In addition it is students responsibility to make sure they take home a chapter book EACH and EVERY EVENING.

Supplies Needed for the Classroom

All students were given a Grade 4 supply list and we appreciate all the supplies that have have been brought thus far. If your child has not submitted their supplies please do so as soon as possible,Please replenish your child’s pencil supply as the year continues.

As the year continues we may ask you to replenish supplies

When sending money into school, place in an envelope with your child’s name, class, amount enclosed, and what the money is for.
