The following index shows the articles and their authors that appeared in the regular and special issues of the Journal of Defense Research during the publishing years 1979, 1980, and 1981, with the articles being listed by title and by principal author. By definition, the principal authors in this list are taken to be the persons whose names are shown first in the articles' title blocks. Coauthors' names are shown in their alphabetical order and are referred to the listing under the principal author's name. In general, our small supply of overrun copies for each issue is exhausted to requesters within a few weeks after the issue has been mailed to listed recipients.
