CDS:Supporting Candidates
ONE-TO-ONE APPROACH
Tailored career advising and career coaching
services are provided through a one-to-one
approach:
with in-depth talks with specialists of the different
business sectors, career advising enables
students to understand their own vocational
profile so that they can better target their post-
graduation job choices. With a greater
understanding of their own capabilities,
participants can develop better self-marketing
strategies;
partnering with Lee Hecht Harrison, global leader
consultant in human resources, CDS has
developed a tailor-made career coaching
program for MBA participants. This program gives
students targeted and pragmatic assistance for
drawing up a post-MBA career plan and for
creating a targeted network to ensure an
effective job search strategy satisfying their
personal aspirations.
MBA participants make use of both services and
additional meetings are arranged on request
for self-assessment purposes, to examine the
contractual aspects of job offers or to negotiate
the salary package.
The Career Development Service (CDS) is the key link between companies and MBA
participants who are involved and highlighted in a number of initiatives focused
on facilitating and optimizing their placement in the job market.
The activity scope of the CDS is twofold:
it is designed for participants as job seekers both as
individuals and as a class and it is addressed
to the business community, offering a vast range
of services to potential recruiters.
The CDS guides and supports studentsthroughout
the MBA program and focuses
on fostering their personal skills and attitudes,
putting them in contact with the international
business community and job market in various
integrated ways.

in terms of technical learning and teamwork.

national and international corporations.

consisting of 3-5 students coordinated
by a faculty member acting as a tutor.
Each project has its own methodological analysis-diagnosis-suggestions-solution approach.
At the end of the project a detailed report is
presented to the top management
of the contracting company.
