Today, we are going to practice our corsage assembly.

You will be given 5 roses with filler, greenery, wire, floral tape, and ribbon to complete this task.

We will demo each step for you and then you will have a chance to complete the step.

By the end of class you will have completed one corsage!

+Purpose(1) To practice for you final! (2) You can sell them to your friends

for prom/homecoming next year! (3) If you get really good at this you

can even do wedding parties! $$$$$$

-Your Costs: Roses: $15 for a bunch Greenery & Filler: $10 for a

bunchTape & Wire: $3Wristlet: $1 each

-Total of: $33

-Remember if you buy a bunch of roses you will be able to make multiple corsages. (approx. 3 for a five rose corsage)- Charge $20 each…you just made about $30!!!!

Pricing for a corsage can be anywhere from $10 to 50$, sometimes more!

It depends on what types of flowers you are using, how many flowers, extra decorations, etc.

+Step 3: Attach Greenery and Filler

+Step 4: Attach Your Tufts and Bows

+Step 5: Assemble Your Corsage!

Use the PowerPoint print out to study for your final.Make your own notes that apply for your

specific corsage that you will be making. Read over the article on the floral

industry and answer the 10 questions that are attached to the back.

Even though this is a different corsage that you learned previously the key is that you have practiced your skills.

Remember there are all types of corsage arrangements possible…flowers, accessories, ribbons, etc.
