Nursing Council (OE)We work together with the Associations and

Nursing Schools who have translated previous versions

We strictly follow the translation rules of ICN

MAIN STRATEGIES5 Regional Work Groups corresponding to each

Region (South, Center, North, Azores and Madeira)

Each group was formed by 4 nurses (1 from the NNC (OE), 1 from the National Nursing Association and 2 recognized specialists in ICNP

We had already translated b2 version to PortugueseFirst we started to compare the terms of 2 that

remain in version 1.0 (english-english and english-portuguese) and we noted some changes in translation

independent translation – Nursing School S. João – Oporto

Finally – 3 months later – we had a National Workshop with independent observers to agree on a final translation to Portuguese

We have also a Browser in Portuguese and English which is free of charge to all RN, as well as a paper edition
