• Starbucks is one of the top corporations that gives back. Not only do they donate during a crisis, but all other times of the year as well. In 2011 alone they donated 30.5 billion dollars. Recently, Starbucks decided to fight against unemployment and worked to help create more jobs. They started the

• Create Jobs for USA program and have already raised 11.5 million dollars, which can help create around 4,000 new jobs.

Target

Target

• Target is another very charitable organization. This year it donated $500,000 for Hurricane Sandy Relief. The donation went towards the American Red Cross, the Salvation Army, and gave $25,000 in gift cards to local Target stores to help the community with basic needs.

Henry Kravis & KKR

Henry Kravis & KKR

• Henry Kravis and KKR have always been generous with donations. Henry Kravis along with KKR, started PNYCF, a charitable company that gives start up companies in health care, education, and other industries money to get their business going.

• With the unemployment rate being so high, new companies and job creation is something they like to promote.

• Kroger is a company that is constantly giving back. With so many people out of work, they knew that people going hungry has a national crisis.

• They donated 184,000 meals to a food bank in Tennessee during November of 2012.
