Please pick up one of each of the papers from

the back table.

Papers1st block ONLY:

-Community House Communications-Publix card

All blocks: -6th and 7th grade Standards

(blue and green sheets)

Team Supplies ● We are always in need of paper

towels, clorox wipes, pencils and tissues!

● Students need ear buds and tape in every class.

Agendas*Students record homework assignments and important announcement from the board in each class. *This should be your go-to for homework information. *Please check each night.

Grading Policy35% = Homework, Quizzes, Classwork 65% = TestsGrading Scale: A= 90-100

B= 80-89C= 70-79D= 60-69

F= Below 60

Retest PolicyIf a student scores below a 79% on a Formal Assessment, test corrections can be done for up to a 79%.

For corrections, students must show all work and include an explanation of their mistake to show that they fully understand.

It is the student’s responsibility to meet with the teacher to make arrangements for reviewing material.

Make Up Work*When students return from an absence, it is their responsibility to ask each teacher for their missing work and notes.

*In math class, all assignments can be found in red absence bin.

Typical Day in Math Class● The class is typically started with a warm up

to review material learned the previous day.

● Students will take notes in their notebooks.

● Students will work at their own pace with

peer and teacher support.

● Students will have the opportunity for

extension & higher level activities.

How can you be involved?

* Ask your child to show you their math notebook and math folder to view assignments and notes for each lesson. This is where all of their notes and work will be stored

* Pencil pouch (tape, pencils, grading pen, colored pencils, scissors)

Homework*Math homework will be assigned 3-4 nights a week. *Homework is typically due the next day, if not, due dates will be written in the agenda and on website.*Students must show all work for full credit. *Students should attempt every problem.

Group Help SessionsTuesday afternoons
