COMMUNIT Y COACHESGuiding an inclusive, design infused Challenge experience

Welcome to the BridgeBuilder Challenge Sponsored by and created in partnership with the GHR Foundation. The BridgeBuilder Challenge is seeking to address the problems that face

our planet, which stretch beyond borders and across cultures. They demand our collective attention

and best thinking to overcome them.

One way we seek to support you in this Challenge is through a globally distributed community

management team, to support you in your local context. With individuals from San Francisco, to

Nairobi, to Beirut represented in this community support system, we hope for the experience to feel

more inclusive and accessible to all of our participants around the world.

What is a Community Coach? Our community coaches are individuals carefully selected for their design expertise, extensive

experience in OpenIDEO Challenges, and global perspective on innovation. It is their role to guide

you, hear you, and contextualize the Challenge process for your local environment when helpful.

They will seek to understand your idea and help clarify and refine your application for this Challenge

specifically by asking questions in the comment section of your idea, connecting you to other

innovators for collaboration and inspiration, and providing tools to you to support your unique

journey.
