The Feudal System

The villein´s work

We work hardly,serving a feudal lord, who owned the land.We are not privileged ,and we must pay taxes to the nobles and the Church

The houses of the peasants are simple, made of clay, wooden roofs and some furniture

The feudal nobility

The feudal lord lives in his castle. This fortified construction is the centre of the feud

Functions of the nobility:help the king with his armies, protects servants and advises the king in making decisions

The king is on the top of the feudal system and he manteins a relationship of servitude with his subjects

Attributes of the king:Order directing military campaigns and ask taxes and exercise of supreme judge in lawsuits
