Three female noncommissioned officers of the Afghan Uniform Police proudly display their diplomas after graduating from the AUP noncommissioned officer academy at Sharan Hall in Paktika province. Of a class of approximately 50 students, four females received their diplomas. Graduates

completed a four-month course on leadership, other duties and responsibilities inherent to the role of a noncommissioned officer.
