Nordic Walking to Collserola
Last week we went on an excursion to Collserola.

The magnificent Serra de Collserola massif risesup over Barcelona Metropolitan Area, almosttouching the city. Collserola is a well-preserved,8,000-hectare natural with a valuable biologicaldiversity.

We took the tram from Cornellà to ZonaUniversitària in Barcelona. Then, we walkedthrough Cervantes park and we arrived to theCollserola’s park entry.

Then, we walked for half an hour and we stopped at “El Mirador dels Xiprers”, from where you can see all Barcelona, parts of Cornellà and other neighbouring towns.

We continued nordic walking and we arrived to Santa Maria de Collserola’s monument.
CollserolaThe following stop we made was at ‘’La Font del Ferro”.
After this, we walked for ten minutes and we arrived to our last stop before we returned
back to Francesc Macià High School, la plaça Mireia.
