Center for Research Resources – NIH for the past 53 years. Formerly the GCRC.

• Purpose: to provide infrastructure support for clinical research.

• Part of the Clinical and Translational Science Award (CTSA)

Vanderbilt Institute for Clinical and Translational Research (VICTR)

• Establish physical and virtual home for translational investigation

• Stimulate/streamline communications and remove impediments

• Develop a new generation of investigators

• Actively develop novel methodologies
