JOB DESCRIPTION

Civil engineering a professional engineering disipline that deals with the design, construction, and maintenance of the physical and naturally built environment, including works like roads, bridges, canals, dams, and buildings.

REQUIRED TRAINING

In order to be a civil engineer you need to have a bacholors deree in civil engineering or civil engineering technology. You don’t need any on the job training, you typicaly a guadrate degree and a licensure for promotion to senior positions. civil engineers must usually be licensed in the locations where they provide services publicly.

SKILLS AND CHARACTERISTICS OF A PERSON SUCCESSFUL IN

CIVIL ENGINEERING Civil engineers carry a lot of responsibility, engineers need to have their projects done on time. You have to be organized in order to be an engineer, engineers have their notebook that they have to keep very organized, keeping your engineering notebook organized is the most important thing so you know what to do for each project your doing.
