RULESANDREGULATIONS1. Allcompetitorsusingtractorsequippedwithfront-endloaders

willremoveallloaderattachmentspriortoenteringthecompetitionarea.Loaderframeswillbeinaloweredpositionwhilethetractorisbeingoperated.TheChatham-KentPlowmen'sAssociationreservestherighttodisqualifyacompetitorwhooperatesaloader-equippedtractorinanunsafemanner.

2. Nooff-roadvehiclesareallowedattheplowingmatchsitethedayofthematch,unlessahandicapstickercanbepresented.Aservicevehicle,drivenbythesteward,willbeavailableifneeded.

3. Anentryfeeof$15.00percontestant.Eachcontestantwillreceiveonebanquetticket.AllresidentsofChatham-Kentwhoploworpaya$15.00membershipfeebythedayofthematchwillbeeligibletovoteattheannualmeeting.

4. Nomorethan2peoplemayusethesametractorandplowonmatchday.

5. Allentriesforclasses1-12mustbemadeby9:30a.m.anddrawingforlandsbeginsat9:30a.m.Lateentrieswillbesubjecttoavailabilityofland.Plowingshouldbecompletedby3:30p.m.

6. AllentriesmustbemadeattheSecretary'stable.7. Allplowmenmustbe10yearsofagebythedayofthematch.8. InTractorClassestheCrownshallconsistoffourroundsfortwo

furrowplowsandthreeroundsfor3ormorefurrowplowsafterwhichthecontestantshallcommencetocastofftohighernumberwhichmustbecompletedby1:00p.m.Maximumpenalty10points.

9. Allboardsmustbedownandinplowingpositionotherthanopeningsplitand1stor2nddrawonthecast-offonly.

10. Aftersettingandremovingstakes,noassistanceorcoachingwillbeallowedonthecompetitor'slandduringplowing,EXCEPTintheNoviceClass.CompetitorsintheNoviceClassarepermittedONEassistantonthelandduringplowing.

11. Averagedepthoffurrowstobesixinchesunlessotherwiseindicated,widthoffurrowtomeasurenolessthan12inches.

12. NohandlingallowedexceptinHorseClass.13. Parentsareresponsibleforchildrenplowingundertheageof16.14. Contestantslimitedtooneclass.15. Anycontestant,assistant,coachorspectatorbreakinganyrules

shallresultintherelevantcontestantreceivingonewarningfromtheSteward.Asecondwarningwillresultinapenaltyof10pointsagainsttherelevantcontestant,andthethirdwarningwillresultindisqualificationfromthatday'scompetition.
