How to Support Your Child

The length of the test requires students to maintain attention on reading for approximately two hours.

Most children are not prepared to read for such an extended length of time.

Students need to build reading endurance and stamina.

Encourage your child to read at home for a minimum of 30 minutes daily.

Talk to your child about what they are reading to ensure they are actively reading for meaning.
