Whether you’re just joining the mathematical mindset movement or you’ve memorized Jo Boaler’s book, this workshop will help you identify and utilize strategies to help all students learn mathematics at high levels. Participants will walk through the process of selecting tasks that allow all students access to open, creative and visual mathematics, identifying learning outcomes, the likely misconceptions that lead to valuable growth, assessment methods, and the strategies that support student learning from start to finish for non-routine problems.
