SUPPLIES & TOOLS:

• 1⁄2 yd. ea. Felt, red & white • 1 yd. HeatnBond® Ultra Hold• 1 pkg. Polyester fiberfill • 21 ⁄ 2 yds. shiny tulle, white• Basic sewing supplies • Sewing machine• Iron & ironing surface • Press cloth• Pencil

DIRECTIONS:

1. Cut two 17" circles from red felt; cut two from white felt; cut two from HeatnBond®. Note: Pattern is a1/8 pie slice of the 17" circle and can be used as a guide to cut the circle.

2. Place the pattern paper side up under the HeatnBond ® circle. Trace the design, move the pattern around thecircle tracing seven more times until the entire circle has been covered forming the recognizable peppermintcandy design. Iron HeatnBond® to the white felt. Repeat with second HeatnBond® circle.

3. Cut out the wedges, leaving the spiral design.4. Fuse each to a red felt circle.5. With right sides together sew circles together leaving an opening for turning.6. Turn, stuff and sew together the opening.

7. Open up tulle then fold in half matching the two cut ends.Place felt pillow on top of the tulle, overlap the sides,and tie the ends to look like the candy wrapper.
