C. P. D. Dorsolateral prefrontal cortex. Travelling through the daily places of my life, I wanted to represent with a photographic work what has largely surrounded my existence so far. Memory has imprinted in me, in a indelible way, places which have become normal and familiar (that no longer belong to me). The vision of these places (of memories), wants to describe a real status of the same place: cyclical repetition of the same gestures - words - actions, the isolation given by insularity (geographically, but firstly real state of mind). The impossibility of going beyond the same place and the duality with its double, illusion of comparison but useless reflection of the soul in search for something that does not exist. Be someone who dislikes landscape photography, I wanted to make these places unique using a unusual photographic method. The result is a distorted memory, like a disorder of the Dorsolateral prefrontal cortex. Paolo Angus Carta 2012
