Description

• Zebras are only found in the wild in one continent: Africa

• Plains zebras, which live in grassland, live all around Africa. Mountain zebras, live in mountainous regions in dry southern African countries like Angola, Namibia and South Africa. Grevy's zebras live in shrubland and grassland in Northern African countries like Kenya and Ethiopia.

Habitat

Fly’s bother the zebra alot and you cant keep them off of them.

They are just like the horse and share the same exact traits except for the coloring of the skin

Symbiotic

Zebras graze primarily on tough grasses, but they also browse on leaves, which may constitute up to 30 percent of their diet.

Crocodiles often catch zebras when they are swimming across African rivers but there main predator or natural enemy is the lion.

Source of energy

When a mare is on heat the mare presents to the stallion by standing with her hind legs splayed and her tail lifted to one side.

Mating takes only a few seconds and is repeated hourly for two days.

They usually only have 1 foal

Reproduction

They will repopulate and wont be as endangered as they are now.

By having one foal that allows the mother to give all her resources to the foal instead of having to share

Reproductive benefits forsurvival

If they eat something that could harm them, then some animal eats that zebra then that animal will be harmed then if something its that animal that animal will be harmed and the chain reaction will keep on going.

Threats that the organism may pose to other organisms
