programs will be highlighted. You may even receive some visitors from programs!

0If you are interested in taking one of these programs your junior and senior years, pick up an application in the CC office or Guidance Dept., fill it out, and turn it in before the priority deadline, January 31, 2015.

0In the mean time, if you see any of these teachers, be sure to introduce yourself!

Work with engines, steering/ suspension, drive trains, brakes, electrical components, perform preventive maintenance.

Answer the call to a career in law enforcement! Start on the pathway toward a number of

different careers including municipal police, county sheriff, state patrol, federal law

enforcement, military police, private security and corrections.

Juniors learn about: Arrest and searches, Crime scenes, Surveillance, Gangs, Patrolling,

CPR/AED, and Gambling laws.

Seniors learn about: Prisoner booking, Forensic science, Riot control, Chemical agents,

Polygraph, Bombs and explosives, Collecting evidence, Line-ups, and Juvenile justice.

Compete in Skills USA, as well.

Dental Assisting0Mrs. Shelton

Get prepared to work with dentists and in dental laboratories.

Learn computer assisted office practices and procedures, patient preparation and comfort, chair side assisting procedures, and the use of laboratory materials and

equipment.While you’re at it, earn your CPR license

and Dental Radiology License. This program prepares students for both employment and/or continued education

upon graduation.Compete in Skills USA, as well.

Engineering Technology0Mr. Campbell0Foundations teacher: Mr. Pettit

Explore the engineering industry through the design phase (civil &

industrial), process phase (electrical, electromechanical,

electronic, and mechanical) and product/service phase

(manufacturing and quality).

Read blue prints, use CAD drawing software, design and build various

projects, and compete in FIRST Robotics!

Healthcare Services0Mrs. Lynch

Want to work in a health care career after high school?

Planning to study medicine or nursing at college?

We want you!

Learn medical terminology, anatomy and physiology, as well as medical office

management. Senior year students will have the

opportunity to obtain their State Tested Nurse Aide Training and Competency

program though the Ohio Department of Health.

Compete in Skills USA, as well.
