Bulletin Board
For my bulletin board, I chose an informative board over poetry. My language
arts lesson was also over poetry, it only made sense to have my board tie in with the lesson.
By doing so, the children were able to help make the board. In my lesson, the class and I went
over characteristics of poetry. For example, poetry can: rhyme, be about anything, has titles,
helps make mental images, and so on. So, I made a bulletin board that displayed information
about what poetry is, how it could be used, what it looks like, and more. Students helped
write these details, and a student’s piece of work with an example of poetry was displayed.
For these reasons, I believe my bulletin board displays one of the elements required.
