are just places where we live or work. Still a lot of buildings are

preserved in excellent condition. We will show you some the most

interesting places.

The Presidential Palace

The Presidential Palace in Warsaw, is the elegant classicist latest version of a building that has stood on the Krakowskie Przedmieście site since 1643. Over the years, it has been rebuilt and remodeled many times. For its first 175 years, the palace was a private property of several aristocratic families.

Political building Belweder in full Pałac Belwederski, Belweder Palace, from the Italian bello and vedere -"beautiful" and "to see" is a palace in Warsaw, a few kilometers south of the Royal Castle. The President of the Republic of Poland, Bronisław Komorowski, resides at Belweder.

Historical buildingWawel - is an architectural complex erected over many centuries on the left bank of the Vistula River in Kraków, at an altitude of 228 metres above the sea level. It is a place of great significance to the Polish people. Polish Royalty and many distinguished Poles are interred in the Wawel Cathedral.

Unique buildingThe Renaissance Sukiennice (Cloth Hall, Drapers' Hall) in Kraków, is one of the most recognizable icons. It is the central feature of the Main Market Square in the Kraków Old Town (listed as the UNESCO World Heritage Site since 1978).

Artistic buildingThe National Stadium (Polish: Stadion Narodowy)- football stadium in Warsaw, on the site of the former 10th-Anniversary Stadium.The new stadium has a seating capacity of 58,145. Its construction started in 2008 and finished in November 2011. The stadium has a unique retractable PVC roof which unfolds from a nest on a needle suspended above the centre of the pitch.

Local Coucil in Opatówek- the building where the commune administrator and councillors work. Residents of Opatówek can come here every weekday.

Historical buildingThis is the "cake shop" or"Gothic house" as we call it. An emblem of the Zajączek family is on the front wall. At first there was a nursery school of the Nationalist Organization of Women here, later a manufacturing company producing sweets and cakes.

Unique building

Parish church is one of the most characteristic buildings in Opatówek. The church is about one hundred years old. Every Sunday catholics gather there.

Iron bridge in Opatowek –was built in 1824 and it is the oldest existing iron bridge in Poland.

Detached house- a single-family detached home, also called a single-detached dwelling or a separate house,it is a free-standing residential building.
