Static Testing

• Test cages are extremely flexible in size

• Various test dummies available

• Hydraulic presses and lead weights available for loads of up to 50’000kg

• Calibrated and computer controlled load cells available

Static testingTest: Monument has to withstand defined flight loads

Pass criteria limited and ultimate loads (e.g. 1.5g, 9g, 3sec)

Dynamic testingTest: Stretcher has to withstand 16g dynamic load (90ms)

Cooling testTest: Simulation of a hot and humid environment (29°C, 70% rH)

Pass criteria the environment does not influence the food, stored in the galley (<4°C in the trolley) no condensation appears

Noise testTest: Noise level with inserts and aircooler in service
