Digimap

• an interactive web-based toolset to visualize and calculate future scenarios for business parks

• a true multi-discipline project– AXIS: concept, IT (XML, Flash, mySQL), graphic user interface design

– ReLion: 3D modeling, 3D engine– B-SIM: simulation, mathematical modeling– University of Twente & City of Enschede: GIS– ITC: cartography– ISFM Ahlen Germany: Site&Facility Management

Conclusions

• creative hot spots like the Media Art Center really help to conceive and carry out this kind of innovative and multi-disciplinary projects

• it makes it easier for companies (like AXIS) to conceive ideas en to carry them out relatively fast and cost-effective

• that’s why Axis recently moved to the Roombeek district in Enschede
