4.2. Most important symptoms and effects, both acute and delayed Symptoms/effects after inhalation : May cause respiratory irritation. Cough.
Symptoms/effects after skin contact : Repeated exposure may cause skin dryness or cracking.
Symptoms/effects after eye contact : May cause slight temporary irritation.
Symptoms/effects after ingestion : May be fatal if swallowed and enters airways. May result in aspiration into the lungs, causing chemical pneumonia.
4.3. Indication of any immediate medical attention and special treatment needed No additional information available
SECTION 5: Firefighting measures 5.1. Extinguishing media Suitable extinguishing media : carbon dioxide (CO2), dry chemical powder, foam.
Unsuitable extinguishing media : Do not use a water jet since it may cause the fire to spread.
5.2. Special hazards arising from the substance or mixture Fire hazard : Extremely flammable liquid and vapour. Flammable vapours can accumulate in head space
of closed systems.
Explosion hazard : Vapours can travel considerable distances to a source of ignition where they can ignite, flash back, or explode. May form flammable vapour-air mixture.
Hazardous decomposition products in case of fire : Toxic gases and fumes may be released in a fire.
5.3. Advice for firefighters Firefighting instructions : Eliminate all ignition sources if safe to do so. Do not use a water jet since it may cause the
fire to spread. Cool closed containers exposed to fire with water spray.
Protective equipment for firefighters : In case of fire: Wear self-contained breathing apparatus.
SECTION 6: Accidental release measures 6.1. Personal precautions, protective equipment and emergency procedures
6.1.1. For non-emergency personnel
