Who's Who in the Cast . . . BOB GWALTNEY (Applegate) Has captivated Sullivan audiences for two consecutive seasons with a wide variety of character portrayals in all Grand Theatre productions. Outstanding among these have been Mr. Appopolus in Won- derful Town, Finian's in Fixriala's Rainbow, the Gangster in Kiss Me, Kate. Big Julie in Guys and Dolls. Prez in Pajama Ganre and Andy in Show Boat. Making his initial stage bow in 1949 in Gerhart Hauptman's Accension of Han- nele, Mr. Gwaltney has appeared in over 65 productions in the past 9 years. At the Sea- cliff Summer theatre in N. Y. he was seen with Burgess Meridith in The Silver Whistle and with Burl Ives in The Man Who Came To Dinner.
ANDREA BLAYNE (Lola) whose striking good looks are matched only by her skill a s a performer steps into the role that brought Gwen Verdon B'way stardom. Miss Blayne, who has a list of theatrical credits that could more than fill this page was for two years under contract as a starlet a t 20th Century Fox Studios. On Broadway she was seen as Bianca in Kiss Me, Kate and in The Seven Year Itch. In addition to many summer stock engagements and road tours, Miss Blayne will be familiar to video viewers from frequent appearances on the Rob- ert Montgomery Show, Studio One and others. Sullivan audiences will remember her outstand- ing work in Call Me Madam. Guys and Dolls, The King and I, Pajama Game and Can-Ca8n.
BOB FAHEY (Commissioner) who hails from Galveston, Texas joined the Grand Theatre this year as a dancer-actor and has been seen in every production this season. He will be re- membered particularly for his excellent inter- pretation of Issac Miller in Plain and Fancy and for his wonderful dancing in the role of Philippe in The Boy Friend.
JIM BELL (Henry) whose brilliant dancing has enhanced all productions this season has performed betore audiences in such cities as Baltimore, Washington, West Palm Beach and Miami. Last year with Musicarnival in West Palm Beach, Mr. Bell danced in Can-Can, Okla- homa! and Kim Me. Kate. At the Royal Poinciana Playhouse in Palm Beach he was seen in The Boy Friend. At the Grand, he has done such roles as Alphonse in The Boy Fnnend, Uncle Thomas in The Kiag and I, Tommy Kel- ler in Annie Get Your Gun and choreagraphed several of the dances for Can-Cam.
JOEL MUNCH (Joe Hardy) has been a favorite at the Grand two full seasons and has appeared in 17 Grand Theatre productions to date.
