(7th Grade ONLY) NEW ELECTIVE STARTING- VERY IMPORTANT!!! We have an amazing opportunity for a two new electives!

If you are interested: there is a link on the BMS Students Canvas Page that you will fill out

under Bear Time Resources titled “New Elective Interest”. If you don’t have time in class

now, please do it ASAP because schedule changes will begin soon.

GOOD NEWS!MONDAY 10/21 is the beginning of the second nine weeks!

That means that:

- All Tardies and ID violations go back to ZERO. Use this fresh

start wisely!!

- Everyone regains 2 restroom passes for each of their classes.

Eligibility Update (for anyone participating in a UIL event (band, athletics, etc.)UIL ACADEMIC GRADE CHECK WILL BE ON FRIDAY

OCTOBER 18TH.

ANY STUDENT THAT WAS INELIGIBLE TO

PARTICIPATE IN ANY UIL COMPETITION WILL

GAIN ELIGIBILITY IF PASSING ALL CLASSES OR

WILL REMAIN INELIGIBLE IF THEY ARE STILL

FAILING ANY CLASS.

Thursday 10/31: Sweats Day “Being drug free is no sweat.” Wear your favorite sweats.

Friday 11/1: School Spirit Day “Team up against drugs.” Wear your BREWER BLUE to team up against drugs.

In inspiration of National Custodians Day, a group of 7th Graders have decided to create a

club where students gather every Wednesday after school to help keep our school beautiful.

Each week one area of the school will be selected to be cleaned by student volunteers.

First day of clean up will be on Wednesday, October 23rd.

Library Pumpkin Decorating ContestThis year we will be having our pumpkin decorating contest in the library. The pumpkins will be due on October the 28th and will be on display until October the 31st. We will judge the pumpkins on October 31st. The winner will receive a prize from Mrs. Jordan. The pumpkins must be decorated with various mediums like paint, markers, and items glued on. You cannot bring a carved pumpkin. Please put your name on the bottom of the pumpkin only. Each person will receive a number when they turn in their pumpkin to the library for the contest. If you have any questions, please ask Mrs. Jordan in the library. You must supply your own pumpkin decorated on your own time.
