Design

Students will learn about logo and package design • Develop and design a new green package or product  • Explore famous graphic artists such as Milton Glaser,

Andy Warhol and Roy Lictenstein, to name a few•  

Ceramics, sculpture, 3D design

Students will expand on basic elements and principles of design using clay, plaster and recycled materials • Learn to use armatures to build 3D sculptures

using various materials (paper mache, plaster, clay, etc.)

• Learn hand-building techniques and basic throwing on the potter's wheel

Aesthetics, art history and criticismWith your permission and help, we will go on• Local outings: exploring our local environment by

walking around town, observing local architecture• Museum trip to Newark Museum
