Year Long Goals

Reading ­ Chapter books with proficient reading comprehension

Writing ­ 3­5 paragraphs in the 3 different forms (narrative, informative, opinion)

Math ­ Addition, subtraction, multiplication and division.  Difficult subjects: Rounding, fractions, measurement and triangles/angles.

Science ­ Adaptations to environment, forces of motion (1st areas that we will be covering).  Mainly trying to focus on interest­based non­fiction text and materials.

Social Studies ­ Kumeyaay and Historical figures.
