Augmented reality (AR) is the next new mass medium which will rapidly grow in the
near future.
AR mixes digital reality and the physical, real-world environment in a breath-taking
way.
With AR it is possible to display informative, entertaining or other virtual content in a
physical reality.
The AR application, which you need to download to your phone or tablet, starts when
the camera reacts to a marker, a reference picture. The marker can be a printed QR-
code, a logo, or even an object from the real environment. The digital content is added
to the real world on your screen as if it would be there for real.
