Vehicle Control
Vehicle control means you are always in control. You anticipate hazards and
therefore avoid the need for sudden manoeuvres that could cause you to loose
control of the vehicle.
This means you should:
 Avoid the edges of the road;
 Avoid sudden braking;
 Drive well within your lane;
 Keep well left on the crest of hills and sharp corners;
 Avoid “U” turns;
 Accelerate slowly on wet roads;
 Drive slower on gravel roads and slow down on corners; and
 Lower your headlights high beam so you won’t blind oncoming drivers.
