Assignment-Connect and Combine

Did you know that-

Your handwriting is “NOT” your handwriting!

Your handwriting is “NOT” your handwriting!

Did you find this statement bizarre ?

Don’t worry yet- let me take you on a short journey

During the Vietnam War, many paraplegics who lost both of their hands and arms learned to write by using a pen in their mouths. After a lot of practice, their handwriting closely resembled their original one. It clearly shows that handwriting is driven by brain and since hands are the natural vehicles to write something, it is called as “Handwriting”. Whereas a more apt name would be “Brainwriting”.

The scientific method of identifying, evaluating, and understanding a person’s personality via the strokes and patterns revealed by his or her handwriting is called as Graphology or Handwriting Analysis as we simply know it.

The science of Handwriting Analysis

Ever wondered or wished that you could learn the science of Handwriting Analysis in a fun manner ?

Why am I mentioning this here ?

Wasn’t this supposed to be an assignment about creation of a brand new Sport from two household items ?

Please wait…

….and You are not at a wrong place!

Let me explain…

Of course, Yes…

Here we prepare a one-of-its kind game that can enable you to learn an absolutely new skill of HandwritingAnalysis in an easy to remember manner.

The household items of my choice are…

What do I do with these items ?

Using scissors, Cut the Cardboard box into equal sized small cards approximately of size of playing cards.

How will these cards help here ?

At its core, Handwriting Analysis is about understanding the strokes that forms the handwriting. So on each card we will mention a stroke formation (taking simply a letter) and on the other side, we will mention which personality trait do that stroke represent.

One more example of how cards will look…

Prepare atleast 30-40 such cards (Handwriting Analysis can help determine 100+ basic personality traits and if we combine them together we will have innumerable traits).

• 2 or more teams of atleast 2 people each.• At a time each team picks-up just one card. • First team shows the backside of the card they

picked up and ask one person from the second team to act (like dumb charades) the listed personality trait without saying anything or lip syncing.

• Other team members of the team needs to guess the personality trait being acted upon.

• The team which guesses in less time wins the round.

• At the end of the acting session (or a round), both the teams study the listed handwriting stroke (front side of the card)for the personality trait just acted and learn.

• Since, the trait was physically acted and guessed, it would help people form strong associations with the listed stroke and hence people will remember the same for a long time.

• These rounds can continue until the cards are exhausted.

Simple Rules of the Game

This is a game that has-- Sense of

Anticipation and surprise moments i.e. There will be enough funny moments when someone is acting the traits.

- Learning moments i.e. when people playing share notes and commit the traits and corresponding handwriting strokes to memory.
