What is Asset Languages?

Asset Languages qualifications• Give you a national

certificate for a practical skill.

• Are recognised by universities and businesses in the same way as other qualifications such as GCSEs.

• Clearly demonstrate what you can do with your languages.

Students with Asset Languages qualifications

reading and writing separately– so you can get higher

qualifications for the bits you’re best at

• Designed to help you succeed – questions and topics are wide

giving you lots of opportunity to show what you can do

• Test your language skills – – not whether you can remember

long lists of vocabulary

• Can be taken at different points during the year– not all piled on in May

• Are available when you are ready– you take the test when you have
