MissionMission

To motivate students and prospective students worldwide to pursue an

engineering or technology career in the HVAC&R field by offering scholarships

to provide financial support for their education and training

AwardedAwarded• Minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0, where 4.0 is

highest• Letters of recommendation• Financial Need• Potential service/commitment to the HVAC&R

profession• Work Ethics (summer or part-time jobs, etc.)• LLeadership ability (activities, leadership roles,

ccommunity service, etc)

Additional CriteriaAdditional Criteria

Must be a full-time student enrolled in a program accredited by one of the following– ABET: Accreditation Board for Engineering and Technology– PAHRA: Partnership for Air Conditioning, Heating,

Refrigeration Accreditation– An accrediting agency outside the USA that is part of the

Washington or Sydney Accord or has signed a Memorandum of Understanding with ABET

OR– The school hosts a recognized ASHRAE student branch
