2015-2016 budget revisions:
– Add Multi-Cultural Night budget - $500– Increase Moms and Muffins Budget to $400–Increase Staff funds by $650 due to new staff–Books- $7000 ($1000 per grade level)–Host an all school PTAwesome BBQ in the spring - $1000–Parents Night Out Fundraiser at Inglewood Golf Club- $1000 deposit

• Rose Chapman to attend the upcoming WA State PTA Legislative Assembly, October 24 in Olympia
• Issues to be discussed include revenue, special education, highly capable students, professional development, discipline, school safety zones, ELL, literacy, continuing the basic education reforms, grading and family engagement, and more.
• Assembly will vote to prioritize issues most important to WA State PTA lobbying agenda.
• PTA has funding to send 3 delegates. (motion required to elect voting delegates)

• Fall Fundraiser Update – Jamie Almond & Kathy SmithersOctober 19-23
Funds raised during fall fundraiser support: •Classroom Funds – books, Arrowhead reads, author visits•Enrichment Programs- Science, Art Docent, MCT, Reflections, Drama, Chef’s Club, Sewing and Knitting, Spanish Club, Green Team, and Lego Club•Scholarship Funds- Supports Access to PTA Programs•Arrowhead Community Events- Pancake Breakfast, Movie Night, Book Fair, Skate Night, School Dance, Moms and Muffins, Dads and Doughnuts, Art Night and Science Fair•School, Family, and Community Support: E-Prep, Library Volunteers, Care Committee, Staff Appreciation and Social Services Committee
Our goal is to raise $13,500 and have all families participate. The suggested donation is $75 but donations of any amount are appreciated and welcome!
