Lots of noise Compact

The poor people stayed in the city. They didn’t have enough money to build their own houses.

New villas, bungalows Vertical houses with open spaces = residential landscape

Apartments Situated next to highway

= practicalHuge buildings with lots of little apartments

Since the 60’s, people had to live

Economic = rise People became rich

= individualistic Every family had his own house (nearby city +

detached house)

Now…“Your house lives longer than you…”

- Sustainability- Isolation- Safety

Materials …Floor plan except for the floor plan, the family could choose how they wanted their houseBefore: - white blocks in plaster - houses built in a very short timeNow: - bricks - it takes a long time to build a house

The style of the 60’s has completely disappeared(Except for folding doors and big windows )

Practical reason They didn’t spend a lot of time in it They ate in the dining room NOT in the kitchenImportant objects:- dishwasher - cooker- cooker hood
