What’s coming up

• A little bit about iESE• Where the experience of continuous improvement has come from• Trends we are experiencing and seeing

We help public bodies throughout the UK

Deliver improved services at less cost

We are owned and led by public bodies

We deliver results not reports – more than £600m cashable

We have delivered significant innovations

What is iESE?

•iESE started in 2004 as a voluntary collaboration of local authorities

along with Police, Fire and Health

•iESE incorporated in 2011 and began its life as a mutual in 2012

•We are

• a social enterprise

• not for profit

•A Company limited by guarantee, owned by public bodies

•A Board of Directors appointed from members

•Owners also appoint representatives to the iESE AGM

What do we do?

• Tools: that we find or build. That enable public bodies to help themselves

• Services: that we can collaborate with or deliver. That give public bodies a helping hand

• Partnerships: which we can support or form. That enable public bodies to share

• To deliver improved services for less cost

Building capacity not dependency

Which becomes a part of our capacity

We have a core team and a network of associatesOfficers, councillors and partners

Encouraging sharing – the iESE Awards

• 10 categories• 3 Finalists in each• Strong support from the sector• Over 200 entries• Funded by sponsorship• Over 6 years
