Objectives

• To open up new digital cultural content for Europeana• To simplify significantly the process of contributing data to Europeana• To help overcome participation barriers by part-automating the

workflow and creating tools for the management of permissions and licensing

• To ensure that current and future generations of Collections and Digital Asset Management Software are ‘Europeana-ready’

Vision of the future

The Europeana Inside outputs, and particularly the Europeana Connection Kit, will be adopted by every Collections Management software supplier and their museum, library and archive clients throughout Europe to transform the quantity, scope and accessibility of digital cultural heritage for the public.
