The most popular children’s game for Albanian children is Hide and Seek.

Game rules are simple: One of the playing children closes his or her eyes and counts to, for

example, 10 while the others children hide. When he/she finished counting, he/she will search for the others.

The goal for the hiding children is to try to run to home base. The first of the hiding children, whom the searching person touches before reaching home base, will be the next person to search for the others in the next round.

Need for innovation in Albania

The railway network needs considerable investments. For example, the section from Librazhd

to Pogradec in the Eastern part of Albania is no longer operational due to a lack of maintenance.

In addition, new trains are needed.

Improvements in Albania’s road infrastructure in Albania is needed strongly. Unpaved roads lead to many of Albania’s key attractions.

Albania is very well positioned as a regional hub for

maritime trade. However, port development is seriously needed. Ports in Albania have low capacity as well as low levels of computerizations.

The city of Durres has the biggest port in Albania.

In the energy sector in Albania, there is a great need for changes / renewal.

The energy sector in Albania is one of the sectors in which the state is strongly involved.

http://ec.europa.eu/enlargement/pdf/key_documents/2014/20141008-albania-progress-report_en.pdf

Since the late 1990s, Albania has been suffering a massive power crisis caused by poor planning in the energy sector,

lack of investments in new power sources, an obsolete distribution network, and growing demand from an increasingly prosperous population.

Albania relies on hydroelectric to fill half of its demand. Imports supply the rest. The country used to be an energy exporter.

A national renewable energy action plan aims to

meet the 38% target for share of energy from renewable sources in 2020.
